  • We have money

  • Dave has done kick *ss on getting sponsors for LW

  • BDF can't do anything about the $12 per month fee so we'll be deducting 12 per month from our annual chariatable contribution.
    

Old Business:

• IRLM Fetish Ball @ KOC 8/18 - Lance, Margaret, Erich, Wyatt

  • Lance reports it was fun, and Erich and Margaret's fantasy was Best of Show.

• Bar Schmooze Friday 9/1 - 9pm at Renegades - Rod

  • Lance reports: Rod wasn't there due to an unrealized date conflict, but we had fun anyhow.

• Dinner Schmooze Thurs 9/14 - 8pm at House of pizza - Stephanie

  • Stephanie reports their was talk about moving to a new location; they decided to keep it at one place for a year, then maybe move to Sonoma Chicken Coop.

• smO Folsom Fringe colors 9/22 - Loren

  • Loren reported online she is waiting for info.

• Kinky Karnival - Wyatt (online)

  • October 21, 2006 @ Edges Noon- 7 p.m.

  • SCCLA Participation would equal:

    • run a karnival game booth (funds raised will be shared) - Wheel Of Torture (Lance, Wyatt)

      • Kevin and Andy agreed to loan the Wheel.

      • Lance or Kevin and Andy will get the Wheel to the event.

    • 1 volunteer for 1.5 hours to serve as event staff (Stephanie)

    • 1 raffle prize donation (Lance, from sccla stash)

• Rubber Leather Pride Wrist Bands - Loren

  • Loren (online) reports she's had no word back from the vendor.

Committee Reports:

• Leather Weekend Nov. 3-5, 2006 - Dave C.

  • Whole lots of info was shared, discussed, decided upon.
    

  • Special decision: After examination of the circumstances and the success we've had with advance sponsorships, the membership agreed to commit $100 from LW funds to get the show producer a room for two nights for lodging and offsite prop and costume storage.
    

  • Dave C. will provide a needed, prioritized volunteer list to the membership.
    

  • If you need volunteers for your part of LW, send Dave C the list.
    

  • Video Tape of weekend as documentary - Dave and Jen L.; Sounds nice, however we don't want it to take away from event manpower; so this is a go if the project has its own staff, and does not take away from priority volunteer needs being filled.

  • $2300 advertising now, probably $3k from Dave C. for LW

New Business:

• smO Folsom Fringe cake 9/2? - Lance

  • Lance got ok from the membership to do this, $35, Loren is getting the check; FF knows it's coming.

• November business meeting is a Potluck to kick off Leather Weekend

  • Andy moved to strike the snack and beverages as a recurring item, as this is a business meeting, not a social anymore, and no one is signing up anyhow. Lance suggested discussing this onlist.
